Call for contributions

At the XIIIth European Personal Construct Association Conference we would like to welcome contributions around the theme: A new spirit in PCP: linking people, ideas & dreams.

Our aim is to cultivate a new spirit in PCP, encouraging and supporting lively conversations and debates in order to allow people to enrich their ideas, to inspire their dreams and implement this approach in different areas, linking into each other.

During the congress it will be possible to present papers and posters, and arrange symposia. At the same time, since the congress is intended to be a participative and experiential event, we would like to encourage, alongside the more traditional papers and presentations, the participation in the Open Space Technology sessions and other social and co-creative activities.

A chairperson will be present when necessary to facilitate and guarantee timing and discussion.

5 minutes breaks between sessions will be planned so people may move comfortably from one room to another.

In more detail, the activities planned are:

• Paper Standard format: 
  30 minutes + 10 minutes for discussion.
• Symposium Two or more connected presentations, focussing on the same issue. 
  Duration: 40/85 minutes.
• Workshop Experiential activity. 
  Duration: 40/85 minutes.
• Open Space Technology Participants will start construing together an agenda, on a “bulletin board”, with several topics that are interesting to them. Around each issue it will be possible to create small discussion groups. These groups will have planned opportunities to discuss during the entire conference time. At the end of the conference each group will present their findings in a plenary.
• Poster There is an opportunity to present posters in the usual way.
